What beauty inspirations have you found the most influential?

Davines and Kevin Murphy are big inspirations for me.  Their passion for growth, education & the environment are truly amazing. I also love Masters Of Balayage & Ryan Weeden for his innovative color techniques.

Tell us about your beauty education and how it made you so fabulous. 

 

I started in Regina, Sk at Avant  Garde, nearly 20 years ago! I finished school and decided to continue learning, so I took an course in Calgary, AB for hair extensions, which I did not know at the time would become my passion!  Fast forward a few years and my dream has now come to life of being an educator.  I love sharing my knowledge and experiences from over the years and helping other stylists to further their career.

What’s your specialty? Everything blonde, from balayage to foils & corrective color work! And of course Extensions!

Who is your hero & why?

 

I wouldn't say I have a hero, but I do believe that certain people inspire us to be who we. are.  I am always in awe of the trailblazers, the ones who create a better world for the rest of us by standing up for what is right.

​

Other then beautifying, what are your passions in life?

 

Nature, definitely plants. (I have a huge collection), my family and all things beauty.

You are stranded on an island, what are three things you cannot live with out?

 

Sunscreen, a good book & a water bottle.

 

Would you rather ride a unicorn or swim like a mermaid?

​

Swim like a mermaid,  I think it would be amazing to see what's down at the bottom of the ocean!

Most Memorable Travel Experience?

​

Going to Italy and seeing all the old architecture, and our family trip to Florida. The ocean is my favourite place!
