What beauty inspirations have you found the most influential?
Sunkissed and ocean-tousled hair inspires my inner artist. Think bright blondes, natural texture, and Aussie surf babes. I love natural colours that look a little too good to be all natural- the kind of long, flowing goddess hair that no one would ever guess was coloured, but everyone dreams of being born with.
Tell us about your beauty education and how it made you so fabulous.
My beauty education began 12 years ago when I was just a teenager; I fell in love with the art of hair and have been styling ever since! I finished as the Top Stylist in my class in the Hair Artistry Programs at both MBSS in West Kelowna and Blanche Macdonald in Vancouver. I then undertook an intensive 2 year apprenticeship at Rain Hair Salon and was taught by some of Vancouver’s top hair stylists. I continued weekly education at Cream Salon in Kelowna, and trained at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles. I have now been an independent hair artist for the past 4 years at Purnama, and have mastered a style of hair artistry that is uniquely my own.
What’s your specialty?
My specialty is colour, especially blonding. I love using a combination of balayage and foiling on my guests to create icy white blondes, seductive redheads, and sunkissed brunettes- all with natural placements that only need to be refreshed a few times each year. My favourite hair to work with is long, thick, Rapunzel length hair, although I love to work with all lengths and textures, while helping anyone create their dream hair! The energy you feel in my chair will be relaxing, healing, and inspiring, while we transform you into the Wild Sacred Beauty that you have always been.
Who is your hero & why?
My other half, Edward, is my hero. His love is the purest I have felt on this Earth, and I am incredibly blessed to spend each day by his side. He was chronically ill many years ago and has naturally healed his body through his dedication to health, nutrition, and self-development. His energy inspires me beyond measure, and I couldn’t imagine a more aligned and loving partner to share life with, while we raise our son together.

I live to love, while traveling Mama Earth, and exploring her jungles, forests, seas, and mountains

Edward, our son Zen, and a doggy best friend!
Would you rather ride a unicorn or swim like a mermaid?
This is a super hard choice, but being a red-headed Pisces water baby, I would rather swim like a mermaid! I have always wanted to be a mermaid. Always.

Most Memorable Travel Experience?
Giving birth naturally to my son in our home in Ubud, Bali on the full moon and lunar eclipse. This was without a doubt the wildest and most powerful experience of my life!
