What beauty inspirations have you found the most influential?

Beachy, tousled, sunkissed hair. Effortless beauty. Long flowing locks, natural colours, and undone texture.

Tell us about your beauty education and how it made you so fabulous.

My relationship with hair began young, and we quickly fell head over heals in love!  I became a stylist at 16 years old, and I’ve trained in Vancouver and LA.  I now have years and years of advanced education under my belt, and have developed my own styles and techniques unique to me along the way while mastering my craft.  I feel so blessed to have found my passion so early in life!  Nearly 10 years have gone by, and I am so grateful for each day behind the chair.

What’s your specialty?

Sunkissed balayage. Bright and cool blondes. Seductive redheads. Blending tones in a way that they appear as though they could be natural, but are too good to be true. Long and thick hair. Bouncy blowouts. Dry cuts and texture. Vivid colours and pastels.

Who is your hero & why?

All of my Purnama angels truly are my hair heroes.  Each of our artists are so talented and have a style that is so unique to them, and I love and trust them all with every once of my being!  Our guests leave our space glowing from the inside out, with incredible hair to match.  Our tribe inspires me every single day!

Other then beautifying, what are your passions in life?

I am a light giver, moon child, and truth seeker.  I live a life of harmony and balance, with all that brings me feelings of peace and deep life meaning.  I live to explore, and have an immense love for all things Earth!  I am a climber, adventurer, and world traveller.  I am also a dog mom of two sweet fur angels, and love adventures in nature with my boys.

You are stranded on an island, what are three things you cannot live with out?

My husband and our two dogs. And if they are all with me, we definitely aren't stranded anymore; we are on an adventure and having a blast! Plus the hubby is a resourceful outdoorsmen. He knows which berries to eat. We'll be just fine.

Would you rather ride a unicorn or swim like a mermaid?

Since I am already a mermaid, I would ride a unicorn. (As long as the combination of that much magic in one place wouldn't upset the balance of space or time.  If that were the case, I would choose to remain a mermaid.)

Quote To Live By:  " Life is tricky, baby. Stay in your magic. "

Favorite Scent: Cloves, cinnamon, and spice.

Favourite Color: The brightest turquoise of the Caribbean Sea, and the deepest forest greens of the West Coast of BC.

Most Memorable Travel Experience? My first expedition into the mountains with my husband, carrying all the gear, food, and water we would need for 5 days on our backs, while exploring Garibaldi Lake and the surrounding mountains of Squamish, BC.  I had never experienced anything like it before, and the journey opened my eyes to a whole new appreciation for the outdoors!
